Thanks to All Who
Contributed to the 701 Neediest Family Fund
The Local 701
Neediest Family Fund was once again a huge success. A total of
$3,238.28 was collected which provided help to eleven Local 701
members and their families in the form of Jewel food certificates
for $300 each.
Because the Fund operates year-round, any member who is in need due
to unemployment, illness, injury, etc. should write a letter to the
Neediest Family Fund explaining his or her circumstances. These
letters will be handled in a confidential manner.
We also encourage any future contributions to the Fund throughout
the year so that we can continue to provide help to our members in
need. Hard times aren’t always planned and as we all know do not
always fall around the holidays.
We wish to thank the following shops and individuals for their
generous contributions to the Neediest Family Fund. It was through
your support that made the holiday season a little brighter for
those who were in need.
