Robert Lessmann
Business Representative

Robert Lessmann has been a member of Local 701 since 1977. He worked for over 26 years for O'Connor Chevy where he also served as the Union steward.  Bob was appointed a Business Representative in 2003 after serving as Vice-President for two terms.  He services automotive dealerships, heavy equipment industry and various specialty shops. Bob is the Assistant Newsletter editor and a Web Site Coordinator and Webmaster.  Bob also assists in negotiating contracts, processing grievances, presents arbitrations and works with the organizing department. Bob was also the Technical Advisor and Director of Judges for the Annual Chi-Town Teardown Pit Crew Competition for the past 8 competitions.
