Tom has been a member of Local 701 for over 24 years. He was an auto mechanic and shop steward for various car dealers before being elected a Business Representative for Local 701 where he continues to serve. He services automotive dealerships, heavy equipment industry and various specialty shops. Tom also assists in negotiating contracts, processing grievances, presents arbitrations and works with the organizing department. Tom was also the Founder and Director of Competition for the Annual Chi-Town Teardown Pit Crew Competitions held at McCormick Place in Chicago every winter.
