Welcome To The Tool Exchange
All proceeds raised by the tool exchange will be added to our fundraising pool and will be allocated by the fund raising committee to the various fundraising efforts supported by the local. We offer two programs for our members who wish to sell their tools; selling a complete set, and selling individual tools. Members wishing to sell their complete set of tools can list with us for a flat fee and the listing will run until the set has sold. Members wishing to sell individual tools will pay a rate depending on the listing price. Please refer to the appropriate section below for pricing and details.
What Is NOT Included
We are
not in the tool sales business.
The tool exchange is offered as a convenience to our
members and as a way for the local to raise money for our various
fund raising needs. That being said we
do not;
warrantee any tools sold on the exchange, we
do not handle
the transactions between sellers and buyers, we
do not
guarantee the descriptions of tools or sets.
As a seller it is up to you
to provide us with honest descriptions of what you are selling.
As a buyer it is up to
you to inspect the items you are buying
before you buy
them.
Complete Sets
If you are looking to retire or get out of the business and no longer need your tools you can list them here for a flat rate of $100 regardless of the listing price. Included in this price:
* Listing runs until set has sold.
* Your listing will have its own page.
* Up to five pictures with full description of tool set.

Individual Tools
As professional mechanics we all have tools that we bought that we thought we would need every day that are now collecting dust in the bottom drawer of our tool boxes. This is a great chance for you to recoup some of that money and make room for tools that you will use more often. Included in your listing:
* Listings run for three months
* 1 picture with brief description of tool
* All listings will be placed on the same page in the order they were received.
